Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") form the agreement between Bintali ("Bintali", "we", "us", "our") and you, the customer ("you", "renter"). They cover both your use of the bintali.ae website and any vehicle rental you book with us. By booking a car or using the website, you accept these Terms.

The signed rental agreement you receive at handover forms part of this contract. Where the two differ, the signed agreement applies to that rental.

The minimum rental age is 21. Sports, luxury and selected high-value vehicles require the driver to be 25 or older.

UAE residents must hold a valid UAE driving licence and Emirates ID. Visitors must hold a passport with a valid UAE entry stamp and either a driving licence from a country recognised by the UAE or their home licence together with an International Driving Permit.

Original documents must be presented at handover. Every person who will drive the vehicle must be named on the rental agreement and meet the same requirements.

Prices shown on the website apply to the specific vehicle listed and include VAT where stated at checkout. Payment is taken at booking by credit card, debit card or another method we make available.

Selected vehicles are offered with no security deposit; where this applies it is stated on the vehicle page. Other vehicles carry a refundable security deposit held on your card, not charged, to cover toll charges, traffic fines and similar amounts arising from the rental.

Deposits are released after the rental closes and the period for fines to register has passed. Where no deposit is held, you authorise us to charge the card on file for Salik, fines and other amounts you incur, as set out in section 6.

We deliver and collect vehicles at addresses across Dubai, including Dubai International Airport, at the times agreed in your booking. At handover we verify your documents, record the vehicle's condition and fuel level, and both parties may photograph the vehicle.

You must return the vehicle at the agreed time, place and fuel level, in the condition it was delivered, allowing for normal wear. If you need more time, contact us before the return time.

Late returns beyond any grace period are charged. A significant overrun may be charged as an additional rental day.

The vehicle may be driven within the United Arab Emirates by registered drivers only. Taking the vehicle outside the UAE, including to Oman, requires our prior written approval and additional insurance cover.

The vehicle must not be used for off-road driving unless the agreement states otherwise, motor sport of any kind, towing, carrying passengers for payment, or any unlawful purpose.

Smoking is not permitted in any vehicle, and a cleaning charge applies where this rule is broken. Driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs voids all insurance cover and makes you fully liable for any resulting loss.

Salik toll crossings are recorded automatically against the vehicle and are payable by you at the rate charged by the toll operator. Traffic fines issued during your rental are payable by you at the amount issued by the authority, plus an administration fee of [insert amount] for processing.

These amounts are deducted from the security deposit where one is held, or charged to your card on file where the vehicle was rented without a deposit. We provide a breakdown of any such charges.

Additional charges may apply for excess kilometres beyond the allowance stated in your agreement, refuelling where the vehicle is returned below the recorded level, and cleaning beyond normal use.

Every vehicle carries insurance meeting UAE requirements, including third-party cover. In an at-fault accident your liability is limited to the excess stated in your rental agreement, unless you purchased additional cover reducing or removing that excess.

No insurance cover applies where the vehicle was driven by an unregistered driver, used in breach of section 5, or where you failed to obtain a police report for an accident.

Every accident in the UAE, however minor, must be reported to the police and to us. Repairs and claims cannot proceed without the police report.

If the vehicle develops a fault, contact us and we will arrange roadside assistance, repair or a replacement vehicle. Faults arising from normal use are our responsibility. Damage arising from misuse, ignoring warning lights, or continuing to drive a visibly damaged vehicle is yours.

In an accident, stop and contact the police: 999 for injuries, 901 otherwise. Obtain the police report and inform us as soon as reasonably possible.

Do not admit liability at the scene. Do not arrange private settlement.

You may cancel or change a booking by contacting us before the scheduled delivery time. Cancellations made with reasonable notice are free of charge.

Cancellations made [insert notice period] or less before delivery may carry a fee, which is stated at booking. If we cannot supply the booked vehicle, we will offer a comparable or better vehicle at no extra cost, or a full refund.

The bintali.ae website, including its content, design, text and images, belongs to us or our licensors. You may use the website to browse and book rentals for personal use.

You may not copy, scrape, republish or exploit any part of it commercially without our written permission. You must not use the website to submit false information or interfere with its operation.

We process your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available on this website. By booking with us you acknowledge that processing as described there is necessary to provide the rental service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under UAE law. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect losses, for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control, or for items left in a returned vehicle, although we will make reasonable efforts to return found property.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute falls under the exclusive jurisdiction of the Dubai Courts.

We may update these Terms by publishing a revised version on this page with a new effective date. Changes apply to bookings made after publication and take effect five business days after being published.

Continued use of the website after that date means you accept the revised Terms.
