The system that matters most gets the first section. From a sun-soaked start the H6 moves serious air through the front vents, and the rear row has vents of its own, so children in the back are not negotiating for leftovers. Two to three minutes of running brings the cabin from oven to normal, quicker if you crack the windows for the first thirty seconds to dump the trapped heat. This car is the light blue one, and pale paint genuinely stays cooler to the touch in an open-air car park than the greys and blacks beside it. Once cold, it stays cold at idle in traffic, which is where cheaper systems start to sag.

What 169 hp gets you
