Hiring a three-row SUV for a Dubai summer is really a cooling decision, and it's the first thing we'd tell anyone looking at Exeed VX 2025 hire. A cabin this size, seven seats across nearly five metres of car, is a lot of hot air to move on a 45 degree afternoon, and cars that struggle turn every school pickup into a complaint session from row three. The physics are against any big SUV in a Dubai summer. Glass everywhere, dark dashboard plastics, and a parked interior that can pass 60 degrees by mid-afternoon. What separates cars is recovery time, and the VX recovers well. Run it for two or three minutes before boarding and the front half is civilised almost immediately, with the back rows coming down shortly after. Rear passengers aren't an afterthought here the way they are in cheaper seven-seaters, where row three gets whatever air survives the journey. This example is dark green, handsome and unusual on Dubai roads, though dark paint does soak up sun, so shaded parking is worth the extra loop around the structure.

A big car in small bays

There's no way around the tape measure. At 4,970 mm long and 1,940 mm wide, the VX outgrows the tighter bays in older malls and residential towers, and a full-lock U-turn needs the space of a proper junction. Newer malls with wide bays are easy, valet exists for the rest, and the surround cameras earn their keep daily. If the week ahead is mostly solo errands in tight districts, this is the wrong tool, and we'll say so.

The drivetrain under it all

Heat also tests engines, and the VX's 2.0 turbo doesn't notice. Its 254 horsepower gives a loaded car genuine pace, 7.9 seconds to 100 unloaded, and the all-wheel drive keeps things settled at Sheikh Zayed Road speeds with the family aboard. A 65 litre tank means a Hatta day trip goes there and back with plenty in reserve, and long air-conditioned idles at school gates barely dent it. As always, Salik crossings and RTA fines land on the renter, seat belts are required in every row including the third, and under-fours need child seats, which is worth arranging before a full-family week rather than during it.

Need it or size down

Take the 2025 VX if the third row will actually carry people during your rental, or if summer comfort for a full family outranks everything else on the list.
